Keep your TEV cargo truck's rear-axle reducer running smoothly with this factory-specified 80W-90 GL-4 gear oil. Formulated to meet the exact viscosity and load-carrying requirements of the Beemotor spur-gear reducer, it provides superior film strength under the high-torque, low-speed conditions typical of urban last-mile delivery.

Why it matters. The rear-axle reducer is the single mechanical wear point in an otherwise all-electric drivetrain. Using the wrong oil — or running low — leads to gear-surface scoring, premature bearing failure, and costly axle replacement. This genuine-spec fluid keeps metal-to-metal contact at a minimum and extends reducer life well beyond the standard service intervals.

Service intervals (TEV Maintenance Manual):

• First change at 2 months or 2,000 km (break-in flush)
• Subsequent changes every 6 months or 5,000 km
• Switch to the equivalent winter-grade below −26 °C

Fill volume. The TEV rear axle takes exactly 1.5 L — one bottle is one complete fill. No measuring, no waste.

Application. Compatible with TEV 65 km/h and TEV 80 km/h variants. Not suitable for the BeeLeisure golf or shuttle series (those use a sealed hub motor with no user-serviceable oil).

⚠️ Always drain the old oil warm (after a short run) for faster, more complete evacuation. Torque the drain plug to 35 N·m on refitting.
