Keep your TEV's rear axle running quietly and efficiently with the OEM-specified 80W-90 GL-4 gear oil — the only lubricant grade approved by Beemotor's Maintenance Manual for the TEV 65 and TEV 80 spur-gear reducer.

This kit contains 3 × 500 ml bottles (1.5 L total) — exactly the factory-specified fill volume for one complete rear-axle oil change. No measuring, no waste.

Why it matters The rear-axle reducer is the single most wear-sensitive mechanical component on the TEV platform. Running low or using the wrong viscosity grade causes gear-surface micro-pitting, increased noise, and — if left unchecked — premature reducer failure. Beemotor's Maintenance Manual mandates the first oil change at 2 months / 2,000 km (break-in flush) and then every 6 months / 5,000 km thereafter. Using the correct GL-4 specification ensures the gear additive package is compatible with the yellow-metal synchroniser elements inside the reducer.

Cold-weather note: Below −26 °C, switch to the corresponding winter-grade variant (sold separately). This 80W-90 formulation is rated for ambient temperatures down to −26 °C and up to +40 °C — covering the full TEV operating envelope for temperate and Mediterranean climates.
